Pioneer Animation Best of Best - Animation Theme Songs Comments: The cd for everyone who liked the Sailor Moon English cds... No, really, I'm serious. ^_^;;; It's mostly English singers trying their hand at singing a dub version of songs from various series. Here and there, it's not too bad. "Tears and Rain" from Green Legend Ran is kinda pretty, and the opening for the Tenchi Muyo tv series is the same lady who sang it in Japanese. ^^;; That's a fun one to listen to her accent. Buuut... on the other hand, there's some really horrible songs on here too. "Go! Go! Moldiver!" for example... I'm sure it was cute in Japanese, buuut... English singers weren't made to do that song. All in all, I think this cd is more for novelty value than anything else. It's kinda fun to hear English versions of Japanese songs, but there's other series I wish this had been done with too. "Key the Metal Idol", for example... ^^;;; I'll rant about that on the Key page, though. |
